Yountville, the "culinary capital" of the Napa Valley, will host the 21st Annual Taste of Yountville weekend celebration March 15, 2014 to showcase the town’s finest food, wine and arts.
Taste of Yountville will culminate in a town-wide block party on Saturday, March 15th in which food and wine lovers can sip and sample local favorites while taking a stroll along picturesque Washington Street. Acclaimed restaurants and wineries will offer savory bites, micro brews and wine along pedestrian-friendly Washington Street.
The event will take place from noon to 5:00 PM. Admission is free. Tasting tickets to experience many of Yountville's restaurants and dozens of Napa Valley wineries are only $1 each. Please check back for ticket purchasing information and a list of event participants.
A juried show & sale of up to 45 Napa Valley Open Studio artists will be displaying in both buildings of the Yountville Community Center (Generations Room & Heritage Room) 6516 Washington Street, Yountville, CA 94599.
An Artist Reception & preview sale will be held on Friday, March 14, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Wine & small bites will be served. There is a $10 admission. Techniques include fine art paintings, jewelry, photography, glass, ceramics, textiles, metals, mixed media & wood.
The show, sale and artist demonstrations will continue on Saturday, March 15, 10:00 AM -5:00 PM and Sunday, March 16, 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM (no admission charge). The Gallery at the Community Center also features an eight week gallery show of Taste of Yountville Open Studios participants.
Due to local health department regulations no dogs will be allowed at this event.
